The Guild is working with officials at the Department of Health
Services to establish a means for Licensed Midwives to become
certified as Medicaid and BadgerCare providers. The response
has been very positive and this initiative has considerable
support both among policy makers and legislators and we expect
to make significant progress on this issue in 2010.
